Going back to your roots
Going back to your roots
If it has roots eat it
If it came off of something with roots eat it
Eating processed foods and red meat is eating a level 1 carcinogen. Carcinogens are categories of various substances that over time have been proven to cause cancer in humans. Level 1 are things that are beyond a reasonable doubt cause cancer in humans. Level 5 are things that certainly do not cause cancer in humans. Level 3 in the middle is a lot like being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Cell phones are a level 3 because cancer rates have increased at similar rates to cell phone usage, but there is no research directly linking the two. It could be the American diet or your deodorant, lots of things have changed dramatically since the dawn of cell phones.
Now I bring that up to clarify that processed and red meat is a level 1 carcinogen meaning it's been directly related to cancer in humans. But eating everyone here has eaten Salami before and looks for the most part okay, so what's the big deal? Carcinogens hurt you over time, it's stuff our bodies are not adapted to deal with.
Let me make an example with smoking, another level 1 carcinogen.
Maybe in high school you put two and two together. That minor stress causes adaptation, and because not everyone gets cancer the next generation can continue smoking at the same rate and over generations they will just become immune to the negative effects through adaptation to tar filled smoke in the lungs. This could be true, but it takes hundreds of thousands if not millions of years for humans to adapt to something like this. The modern smoker has existed for about five generations, immunity might be possible after generation twenty-five thousand.
Things with roots are level 5, meaning they without a doubt do not contribute to cancer in humans.
